Question:

Why aren't my HTML / Python changes being updated? How do I reload the docs directory? How do I flush the cached Python pages?

Answer

For maximum performance, Ultraseek's built-in Web server caches its Python scripted HTML pages (contained within the Ultraseek program /docs/ directory). Whenever you change a file in the /docs/ directory, you need to flush the cache.

You can do this by:

1. Go to "Server Parameters" in the Ultraseek administration interface
2. Find and click the button "Reload" next to title "Document Directory".

You can also restart Ultraseek to reload / compile the pages.
